It is ironic that this Wednesday, December 2 is exactly 24 years since i birthed 35 weeks still born baby (the day of the interview). I have lived the past 20 years in denial of this date. I now welcome the opportunity to have an open discussion on this topic, its effect on siblings/husbands/partners (because often we tend to overlook the men ). How this has helped to influence me in the area of childcare and especially as a Newborn Care Provider ‘BabyNurse” and why she offers Emotional Support to parents, especially moms. How husbands/partners can help to offer more support to their wives and how wife’s need to make sure that their partners are not left out of the wonder of parenthood.
